hololive Next NEWS | Beyond Regional Boundaries, One “hololive”

For the 10th anniversary, hololive production is becoming more global and more open.

As part of the “Production Renewal” announced on “hololive Next,” we are revisiting the brand structure that has been divided by region and group, and moving toward bringing all groups together under one “hololive.”

Our goal is a hololive production where talents can pursue a wider range of activities than ever before, transcending regional boundaries across Japan, Indonesia, English-speaking regions, and beyond.

Beyond Regional Boundaries, One “hololive”

Until now, under “hololive production,” “hololive” has operated with a brand structure centered around individual regions and groups, including hololive Indonesia, hololive English, and hololive DEV_IS.

Going forward, we will revisit this structure, transcend regional and group boundaries, and bring everything together as one “hololive.”

This renewal is designed to enable talents active around the world to interact more freely, without being limited by region, and to create new content and forms of entertainment together.

hololive production’s talents and fans now span the globe, from Japan and North America to Southeast Asia and beyond.

We will continue to expand these connections and work alongside our talents to create content that is more open and global than ever before.

Official Channels to Shift from Region-Based to Language-Based

As part of this renewal, we will also be changing how our official YouTube channels and official social media accounts are operated.
Existing official YouTube channels and social media accounts will continue to operate as they do now.
The biggest change will be in how we determine which channels deliver which information.

Until now, we have selected the channels and accounts through which content is shared based on the region where the featured talents are based.
Going forward, rather than focusing on who is appearing, we will share content based on which language-speaking audience it is intended for.

For example, content on the official Japanese YouTube channel will be shared with fans around the world who enjoy content in Japanese, regardless of the region to which the featured talents belong.

Similarly, the official English X account will bring information on a variety of talents to fans around the world who receive information in English, regardless of whether those talents are based in Japan, Indonesia, English-speaking regions, or elsewhere.

A hololive That Connects Talents and Fans Around the World

With this renewal, a wider variety of talents from across regions will appear on each official channel and account than ever before.

“A Japanese channel doesn’t mean Japanese talents only.”
“An English account doesn’t mean English talents only.”

We will move beyond this region-based way of thinking and create an environment where talents and fans can connect more freely, centered around language and content.

As a company, we will also strengthen our support systems so that each talent can pursue their activities more globally, transcending regional boundaries.

365 Days to Go Until the 10th Anniversary.

This Production Integration is one of the initiatives included in the “Production Renewal” as we move toward hololive production’s 10th anniversary.
As hololive production, which has grown across regions around the world, looks toward the next 10 years, we are coming together as one “hololive.”

Transcending regional and language boundaries, new combinations and new content that have never been seen before will emerge.
Throughout the year leading up to the 10th anniversary, we will gradually bring you this new hololive production, one step at a time.

We hope you’ll keep an eye on future episodes of “hololive Next” and the “10th Anniversary Countdown”!
